United Nations Environment Programme launched this year divide "Ozone Layer Protection: Optimal management and his understanding."
Ozone is one of the most important gases that contribute to life on earth. The largest amount of ozone, about 90% is contained in the layer of 8 to 18 km.
On the occasion of the World Day of Bucharest and ozone, city residents will get in on 17 and 18 September, and an ECO festival entitled "Life Verde Bucharest" which will take place in Izvor Park,
For 2 days in Izvor Park will present projects ECO (including urban ecology), workshops recycling creative (Recycle Art), workshops manufacture traditional painting exhibitions, demonstrations of graffiti, plant vegetable and flower arrangements, integrating sciences and IT, all sitting under the sign of respect for nature, for its regenerative energies that often neglecting modern civilization. Return to "Mother Nature" is the appeal of this festival "Green Show" in which people will be invited to urban bee on the grass at music recitals held on the lawn of the park generous slogan "Bucharest - oasis".
Debates about environmental and sustainable development projects will complement actions in the two days of Bucharest having the opportunity to know the ECO programs of NGOs and informal groups that carry out initiatives designed campaigns nationally and internationally.
